TORONTO, March 15th, 2021 – Jennings Consulting Limited today announced a series of appointments that expand the firm’s team of experienced financial services consulting professionals. Byren Innes, Managing Director of Jennings Consulting Limited welcomes Azmin Daya, Debbie Dimoff, Steve Fretwell, Doug Paul and Raj Sandhu to the Jennings roster. With these additions, Jennings has established a strong, well-rounded team of consultants who specialize in strategy, operational efficiency, business development optimization and business transformation within the financial services industry.

Azmin Daya’s deep and broad experience in all aspects of insurance brings operational and financial acumen to the Jennings team. An accountant by background, Mr. Daya has worked globally in CFO, COO and CEO roles in P&C, life insurance and reinsurance. His experience includes a decade of consulting in strategy, operations and transformation.

Debbie Dimoff brings specialization in facilitating the growth of companies from idea to sustainable business. Ms. Dimoff spent several years at a large global accounting and advisory firm with a focus on customer experience, people strategies and digital transformation. Her background in financial services spans retail banking, insurance, small business and wealth management. In addition, she has advised leaders at multiple organizations on the successful implementation of major changes.

Steve Fretwell has held sales and distribution leadership roles at some of Canada’s leading life and health insurance companies. In addition, he has served as country leader for speciality insurance lines for global commercial insurance, human capital and risk management firms with operations across the globe. Mr. Fretwell has also served for eight years as the Advisory Board Chair for a Toronto-based automated life and health insurance underwriting technology firm.

Doug Paul joins the Jennings team with more than 30 years of experience leading and managing sales and distribution teams at life insurance companies in Canada. He has also headed the Canadian investment management and distribution arms of various global financial services organizations. Mr. Paul was a co-founder and continues as an Advisory Board Member for APEXA Corporation and serves on a number of other Strategic Advisory Boards in the Insurtech space.

Raj Sandhu brings unparalleled academic and behavioural science qualifications combined with practical experience with some of Canada’s leading financial services organizations. Ms. Sandhu applies her behavioural science expertise to help companies effectively reach consumers.
