John Martin Del Campo, BSc

A customer-focused financial services leader, John brings over 20 years of international experience in helping organizations strengthen governance, manage regulatory compliance, and drive operational efficiency. With deep expertise in Governance Risk and Controls (GRC), controls design, and risk management, he partners with clients to deliver practical, high-impact solutions.

John has worked in Canada, Bermuda, and the U.S., supporting banks, insurers, regulators, and startups. Most recently, he led the design of a reinsurance structure to transfer pension risk from the UK to Bermuda—delivered in partnership with a leading Canadian insurer and a Bermuda-based startup.

At a “big-four” consulting firm, John advised Canada’s top five banks on enterprise-wide control frameworks, organizational redesigns, and the implementation of new regulatory requirements. John has supported U.S.-based clients in implementing GRC software platforms, standardizing control environments, and streamlining processes to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
