With over three decades of experience in Individual Life and Health insurance, with senior executive roles spanning Canada, the U.S., and the U.K., Leslie is recognized for her deep underwriting and operations expertise. She has held leadership roles as Chief Underwriter, leading end-to-end operations, overseeing Call Centers, New Business, Underwriting, Inforce, Claims, and Reinsurance..

Her career combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, delivering operational improvements, reduced turnaround times, and enhanced customer experience. As an executive sponsor, Leslie has led transformative projects including client portals, straight-through processing, underwriting systems, rules engines, and other digital platforms.

A respected industry leader, she has served as Chair of the Canadian Underwriters Association (CIU), was a member of the MIB Board, a committee member of the Academy of Home Office Underwriters (AHOU), and a chapter author in Level 1 and 2 Academy of Underwriting textbooks.

At Jennings, Leslie leads operations engagements from application submission through to claims and advises on Insurtech platforms for underwriting systems, rules engines, and new business processes—helping clients align people, process, and technology to achieve measurable results.
